Dear Brother Knights,

 

I am honored to be your President this year as we reboot our Chapter and re-energize our Councils. To start the year firing on all cylinders, the Chapter provided lunch and financial support for the Diocese’s Jubilee Games at Archbishop Mitty  High School this past july 17th, and that was a lot of fun. Thanks to all who helped, the event was a great success! We made over 400 sandwiches and all of them were handed out, including a box for the homeless and another one for the Carmelite sisters.

 

The Chapter is making a dollar-for-dollar matching challenge to all Councils and Assemblies to collectively sponsor the event at the $10,000 Pope’s level. For every dollar donated by your Council, Assembly or individual Knights, the Chapter will match up to $5,000. To date, I have received donations from 4 Councils and 3 individuals, so with the match we are still $3,000 short of our goal.
